Eligibility

The Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition is open to pianists who, on commencement of the Competition on 18 June 2021, are aged no older than 16 (ie, you cannot have had your 17th birthday) and who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia; or are from another nation and have been studying in Australia for at least one year as at 18 June 2021. Applicants 16 years of age can enter either the Young Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition or the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition but not both. All Applicants based overseas are not eligible to apply due to current travel restrictions.
