Biography

Annie is currently undertaking her final year of a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under the guidance of Natalia Ricci. She was the winner of the 2020 SCM Piano Concerto Competition, 2020 Sutherland Shire Symphony Conductor’s Award, the first prizewinner in the 2019 Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, winner of the 2018 Theme and Variations Piano Foundation Award and 2016 Sutherland and St George Youth Music Awards.

Annie has appeared as a soloist in notable venues such as the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House and has given performances in Gisborne, New Zealand as part of the Tiromoana Summer Concert Series and in Weimar, Germany. She has been invited to perform recitals at Kangaroo Valley and Bundanoon’s Music at Ten Series, as well as playing frequently for the Sutherland Music Club. Other highlights, include a performance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 2 with the SCM Sym-phony Orchestra.

She had been a participant in masterclasses at the Mozartuem in Salzburg and the Hochschule für Mu-sik Franz Liszt in Weimar under the SCM Henderson Travellers scheme. She has also been a recipient of various other scholarships including the Sydney Scholars Award, Clarence Addison Turill Scholar-ship, PJV & MAH Cromack Memorial Scholarship and the Kathleen and Allison Short Scholarship.

Over the years, she has worked with renowned pianists and teachers such as Dominique Merlet, Grigo-ry Gruzman, Denes Varjon, Alessio Bax, Michael Endres, amongst others.
