Biography
Dom Erbacher has been playing the piano since he was just 4 years old and is a candidate for graduation from the QCGU at the young age of just 20. He has spent the last two years working hard at the Conservatorium undertaking a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Classical Piano Performance. Dom is an experienced performer, starting when he was around 6 years old, and getting more serious with competitions from age 12. He is an entrant to the 2021 biannual Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, was awarded the James Melville Clark Memorial Scholarship when he was just 15 and won the Charles & Motee Rogers Memorial Piano Bursary in the same year. Dom is also an established chamber musician and was a finalist in the 2020 Basil Jones String Sonata Prize. He has been described by established musicians as a very passionate, musical, and sensitive. Growing up under the tutelage of Mrs Cheryl Reid until 16 and now under Mr Oleg Stepanov, Dom is also an experienced piano teacher with a reputation which precedes him, with 30 students and is highly sought after by friends, friends of friends, and families of his current students.
