Biography
Hannah has won first prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music competition in Vienna in 2015. She has participated in masterclasses (under Ingrid Fliter) and performed at Summer Festival at the Imola Incontri Col Maestro Piano Academy, Italy in 2016. In 2016, she also performed as guest artist in Carnegie Hall New York during the Golden Keys Music Festival. She was semifinalist in international competition in Malaysia (UCSI) in May 2016. In 2017, she won first prize in Concours International Piano Competition in Paris, semi-finalist in Astana Piano Passion, and first place in the GOCAA International in China. In 2018, she won Second Prize in Chopin International Competition in Hartford, Connecticut. She performed Beethoven Concerto No 1 with the Wu Han Philharmonic Orchestra in Wu Han China in June 2018. In June 2019, Hannah performed Chopin concerto no 1 with METSO orchestra in Western Australia. More recently in March 2021, she has advanced to next round of CCTV competition in China. She has also been finalist in Chopin Avenue online competition in March 2021.
Locally in Western Australia, Hannah has won prizes in all major piano and violin competitions having been crowned West Australian Pianist of the year in 2019 and 2020 as well as Junior WA Pianist of the Year 2015,2017 and 2018 as well as best string player in major eisteddfods in 2017 -2019.
Hannah has performed regularly in local concerts, Rising Stars concert yearly 2016-2020. She has performed in Government House Ballroom concert arranged by Mark Coughlan in 2018. More recently in November 2020, performed a solo recital for Nulsen Charity organised by McCusker’s Foundation.
Her other recent accomplishments are ATCL examination with distinction in Nov 2018 as well as her AmusA with distinction. Hannah also completed the LTCL (Trinity Licentiate Diploma) with distinction in January 2021.
In her violin studies, she has completed Australian Music Examinations Board Violin Grade 8 Exam in April 2020 with Honours/ A grade. She currently plays first violin in her Methodist Ladies College Symphony Orchestra.
