Biography

Ceicilia Limargana was awarded the Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College London with Distinction at the age of 12 and become one of the youngest persons in Australia to complete the LTCL exam. At age 6, she started learning piano under the tutelage of Prof.Yoon Sen Lee and from age of 7, she has been invited and performed at number of events at Carnegie Hall.

She has been awarded with several first prizes at Western Australia Pianists Competition, Music Teachers Association Awards, Fremantle, North of Perth Festival, Southern Suburban and Joondalup Eisteddfod where she was also awarded as The Most Promising Artist Award and Musical Scholarship.

Ceicilia won various prestigious International competitions including; 1st prizes for both solo and duet at 2017 American Protege, USA, 1st prizes at the Golden Classical Music Award 2016, USA for both solo and duet. In 2017, she won first prize at the Global Outstanding Chinese Artist Association International Piano Competition, was awarded the Best Talent and Contract Junior Award. 1st prize at the 2018 TIPNOC International Piano Competition at Transylvania, Romania. Recently, she received 1st prize in Open Solo Championship Recital at Western Australian Pianists Competition.

At age of 8, she won 1st at Grand Prize Virtuoso in Vienna and in Paris with an ‘Absolute Score’. At her performance at Metallener Saal, Musikverein in Vienna, she was also awarded with the Best Beethoven Award.

Ceicilia has performed at number musical events and piano concertos with METSO Orchestra in Perth and with Wuhan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra,China.
