29. Samantha Li

Samantha LI （11yrs）was born in Adelaide, Australia in April 2009, Samantha started to pick up music when she was 6 on a keyboard. After a while, she started to become really deep and into music, so she decided to learn piano seriously. From 2018-2020，she won many national awards and passed her Australian Music Examination Board for AMUSA Diploma with an Award when she was only the age of 10. Samantha has also won the Miriam Hyde Junior Award, Norman Sellick Memorial Prize, Riemann Robinson, the Berenice Harrison Award and the Elder Conservatorium of Music Adelaide university 2020 Jewels Stevens Scholarship.

Samantha currently studies at St Peter’s Girls School in Year 6 and was awarded with the most prestigious music scholarship “Jane Peter’s “Music Scholarship. She is learning the piano with Monika Laczofy OAM who has supported and helped Samantha throughout her piano journey. Now, Samantha is under the University of Adelaide Elder Conservatorium of Music with the Young Musician program. She also learns violin as a 2nd instrument with Keith Crellin OAM and enjoys playing it in Orchestras. She is very enjoying both instruments at the same time.

2021 is a wonderful new start year, Samantha has been invited to Ukaria culture center to perform piano (Wagner/Liszt). Samantha as soloist performed there on January 31st 2021, Looking forward to the new exciting year ahead.

Samantha is a very easy-going girl who truly admires and loves music. She always thinks that she was BORN FOR MUSIC! She also enjoys reading and studying. Samantha wishes to be an inspirational musician!
